Our family of patents covering a form of “liquid armour” were developed inside BAE Systems’ Advanced Technology Centre and transferred to us for further development and commercialisation. They leverage a shear thickening fluid effect to allow for superior performance body armour that offers increased mobility and survivability, giving tactical operators a critical defensive advantage.
Beyond defence, the civilian applications of this technology could be truly enormous. From first responders, healthcare, industrial PPE to the multi-billion dollar sports protective equipment market, Liquid Armour has the potential to increase performance, productivity, and to literally save lives.
